yo it has been eons since my last post...
i'm finally forced to update this before anyone starts ranting about it...
kkz... a lot of things happened since 6 feb...
CHAIN OF EVENTS...
1. Orientation 2
2. Block Test
3. Council Camp '07
4. 30th anniversary
5. Movies...

first up: Orientation 2...
it has been a rather fun and enjoyable time for mii as a secretary of the O2 ad hoc...
wid renkai as the "tau", jing sheng as vice "tau", Lester as "MM"...
it was a rather interesting time working wid this array of people...
it lasted for 2 days... games and all...
first day was a rather enriching one for mii..
i was the secretary cum games sub-in charge wid xue wei that day...
tiring xia... walking around serangoon for lky 2 times...
and mind u it was a blazing afternoon...
but it was fun... later came the problem...
XUE WEI had to go for SPA... i was alone... haiz...
but lucky i had her to guide mii along... heng xia...
wait i LOST how... call for ms chiew hotline mehz... hahaz...
for wad ms chiew said that day i rmb... and i thank u for giving mii that chance...

second day of O2 was a rather tiring one...
i was the secretary cum Public relations team...
how i wished i could be an octopus for that day..
so many sickings... so little manpower...
quelyn and i was indeed heads and tails at that day...

2nd block test...
no comments...
been there... car crashed... end of story...

3rd council camp '07
firstly, i wondered y i was chosen to be the discipline master for that camp...
i was rather surprised when wei hao told mii that i was the DM together wid Syimah...
later den i knew that it was actually the teachers giving mii a chance to prove my worth...
after being the slient killer in council for too long... XP... not that i meant it...
i tell u hor... being a DM is rather taxing both mentally and physically...
i actually felt angry at them for not doing things fast enough or wad...
and i felt disappointed when they keep on repeating their mistakes...
haiz... but at least they succeeded in finishing the inspection drill within their time limit...
30th must jia you wors...

mii backs again... Haiz January coming to a end le... which means J2s are 10 mths away from the "hateful" 'A' Levels... reli wonder when i'll pop off..
haiz... i was wondering whether the end of the world is coming... the days are getting dreadfully short... all day school, tutorials, lecture, home, homework, study and sleep, and it repeats day after day... it's getting meaningless... but must persevere... will pass very fast de... at least i believe it will... it must... Anyways that's what a councilor should have... "PERSEVERENCE"

hmm... so cold these days.. kept on raining.. nice weather to sleep in..
today went shopping wid my parents.. went to tanjong pagar to buy new year clothings..
we went to MANCHU to get some jeans.. i bought two pairs.. cost 100 dollars... so ex... lucky got special discount.. 20% haha.. den i went to ang mo kio and went to sportlink... just to buy a pair of sport shoes.. and a bag...

at the end of the day, i bought 2 jeans.. 1 billabong bag, a pair of nike shoes.. and some school supplies.. and spent $300 plus.. die new year must repay my parents fer tt.. hee

Day1: everybody blur blur de.. (cos first day of skul mahx who isn't).. i went into og 28..
so lucky xia.. found out tt sok hua and mii same og and in phoenix.. yeah.. we met our ogls, jok, kenneth, and qihao.. den i met my old friend bing qiang.. haha.. is it a coincidence? i think not...
on the first day.. we played ice breakers.. normal games lky hunter fire rojak?!.. we played land games.. veri lame.. butt veri sore.. instead of playing we were cleaning the chairs wid our butts.. yong liang in my og (a damn lame king) was fluming.. he accidentally put out his middle finger while playing rock paper scissors.. haha.. end of the day i've known half of the group..

Day2: we played water games.. (not exactly water games, but we had fun all the same..).. we oso did the 28th council's dance.. veri fun but tiring to rmb the steps.. den we got to noe more of our ogls.. jok is in netball, kenneth is in dragonboating, qihao is in guitar.. den the cca groups came to intro their ccas.. the funny thing was joseph.. he kana "played" by the in charge for choir... lolx...

Day3: we went to sentosa, it was so cool.. and fun.. haha.. we went to the wrong station... ended up walking instead of playing haha.. anyways in the afternoon we played beach games, it was so fun.. i end up losing my voice cos we played "where's the peanut" wid yu zhen's og... veri fun..

D-Day: sad day.. last day of orientation.. yet it was the best orientation.. we were bonded lky glue.. haha.. we played air games a lame term to me.. cos it was just typical games.. den we had our dinner.. damn late.. did not get to dance the mass dance sad case haiz.. but the disco was fun.. too bad no light sticks.. onli jumping.. haha.. it was sad to leave the place.. but we did one last cheer before we left.. damn enthu tt nite..

heLo.. long long long long tyme didn't blog le kkz.. damn busy these days.. got c maths and gp tuition xia.. boring!!! haha.. anyways.. i just come back frm cameron highlands not long ago.. it was such a refreshing trip.. it was fully air conditioned there.. so cold yet so cool.. haha.. it was fun while it lasted.. we set out on 23 dec by bus.. it was very uncomfortable as it took 9 hours.. it would have been fun if it didn't took so damn bloody long.. mii butt hurts.. aniwaes.. when we reached the top i realised how high it was... 5000 feet above sea level.. gosh wad a sight to behold.. we visited a lot of places there.. travelling by mini vans.. but the roads were damn small and congested.. luckily the driver was skilled enough to dodge approaching cars.. lolx.. hmmx.. there were oso lotsa strawberry farms almost driven mii up the wall.. SOOO MANI STRAWBERRIES... SOOO SCARY... to add to that.. i was living in strawberry park.. OMG.. haha.. during dinner we wanted to try the charcoal steamboat.. it was quite well known.. but as we onli had 3 ppl.. we couldn't get in.. dratz.. haiz.. in the end we went to the town called Brinchang.. (for ur info it's B-RIN-CHANG.. not balachan.. lolx) and ate at ok-tuck.. ppl there are veri slow paced and well tempered.. (due to the cool air which brings down the temperature as said by the tour guide) but the tour guide, Kenneth, himself kept scolding the drivers.. saying that they were lazy bastards... good lord?! haiz enough abt that... hmmm if u'r a fan of strawberries.. cameron highlands is the best place for u.. truly i mean it.. the unlucky thing is i bumped my head twice on the bus.. the door was for dwarves.. god.. butahan liao.. hehe.. nvm i haf a head of steel.. cameron highlands is oso well known for growing organic foods, lky dragon's beard, water cress, mushrooms, and not to mention strawberries.. lolx.. it has a veri healthy lifestyle.. ppl there are veri handsome and pretty.. Mr chai said this was bcoz of their lifestyle and the refreshing air there.. haha.. those who wanna be pretty go live there.. catus are oso grown there and i saw one that's 73 year old.. even bigger den a watermelon!!! scary...

After reading 'The Curious Incident Of The Dog', i feel that the book is very unique. Although it has very crude wordings, it's stiil very facinating that the author has a very fun way of expressing himself. For example, he only uses prime numbers for the chapters.

The story tells about christopher, who was a boy that had a broken family, was accused of killing the neighbour's (Mrs Shear) dog. He decided to play detective after the incident.
In the end, he found out a few things:
his father had killed the dog;
his mother did not die of heart attack, but had lived in London; and
not all of his neighbour was bad.
After he found out all this, he left his father in search of his mother, currently in London. He went on a trip of his life on his own, he met a few problems on the way to London, but he got there.
After all the ups and downs he experienced, his family was finally united.

Good points about the boy is that he is very smart (doing a levels at a young age), loves mathematics, controls his anger by doing maths in his head. He is also very sensible, but has a very weird attitude (not liking strangers to touch him), and very curious about everything (who killed the dog?).

For a general review, i would give this book a 4 star rating.

The country i wish to visit most would be Eygpt, with the Great Pyramids of Giza, and the fancinating history and stories of Rameses and the different Pharoah's reign.
The monument was built by the Egyptian pharaoh Khufu of the Fourth Dynasty around the year 2560 BC to serve as a tomb when he dies. The tradition of pyramid building started in Ancient Egypt as a sophistication of the idea of a mastaba or "platform" covering the royal tomb. Later, several stacked mastabas were used. Early pyramids, such as the Step Pyramid of King Zoser at Saqqara by the famous Egyptian architect, Imhotep, illustrate this connection.The great pyramid is believed to have been built over a 20 year period. The site was first prepared, and blocks of stone were transported and placed. An outer casing (which disappeared over the years) was then used to smooth the surface. Although it is not known how the blocks were put in place, several theories have been proposed. One theory involves the construction of a straight or spiral ramp that was raised as the construction proceeded. This ramp, coated with mud and water, eased the displacement of the blocks which were pushed (or pulled) into place. A second theory suggests that the blocks were placed using long levers with a short angled foot.
When it was built, the Great pyramid was 145.75 m (481 ft) high. Over the years, it lost 10 m (30 ft) off its top. It ranked as the tallest structure on Earth for more than 43 centuries, only to be surpassed in height in the nineteenth century AD. It was covered with a casing of stones to smooth its surface (some of the casing can still be seen near the top of Khefre's pyramid). The sloping angle of its sides is 51 degrees and 51 minutes. Each side is carefully oriented with one of the cardinal points of the compass, that is, north, south, east, and west. The horizontal cross section of the pyramid is square at any level, with each side measuring 229 m (751 ft) in length. The maximum error between side lengths is astonishingly less than 0.1%. I believe this is a very astonishing feat, being able to build such huge architectures without the help of modern technology, it is almost unbelievable that homo sapians were able to build such things, like the Great Wall, The Stonehedge and other ancient buldings.
